Why the lagoon sunset trip leaves at 4:30

People often ask why the sunset trip starts so early when sunset is after six. The answer is the sandbar.

At around five the falling tide uncovers a long ribbon of sand in the middle of the lagoon. We land there for a swim and fruit, then push off just as the light turns gold, with the evening sea breeze behind us all the way home.

Arrive at the sandbar with the tide, leave with the wind. That is the whole trick.
